contigencies of this life

"We can easily forgive a child who is afraid of the dark; the real tragedy is when men are afraid of the light." -- Plato

okay. classes have started, both in real life and in hex. so far, so good. i have to report on the ceramics industry, which at first, i found utterly boring, but maybe...i'm giving it a chance. well, school sucks as usual but not so much, this sem, i hope. ie 3 is fun, if you are keen on conquering the world and everybody else, for that. :D

so, engg week season has officialy started, with its launch last week, and the start of volleybagan this week. i'm not really involved in some really major events, which may suck or not, depending on the framework we're looking at. i have a lot of work to do, and most of them are those that are needed to be done now, i mean before december comes, if you know what i mean.

there is a lot of physical exhaustion in my life nowadays. and i'm not talking about that one jogging session where glecy and i jogged 1/8 of the acad oval and walked the rest. but i may have lost as many calories as eating a stick of carrot has. there is a lot to take care of. a lot of places to go to. a lot of meetings, briefings and other types of short-talk sessions to attend. but the physical pain is just the tip of the iceberg.

"I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days attack me at once." -- Ashleigh Brilliant

let me say that i have shed less tears that i have said cuss words. i have felt so stepped upon. but that is not too imporatant now. now's the time for revenge. and i will get you.

I prefer the company of peasants because they have not been educated sufficiently to reason incorrectly.
--Michel de Montaigne, French essayist (1533 - 1592)

why would someone think that a person is against him/her if that person not only wants to help, but really wants the best for him/her? it's too childish. i have five younger sibs so i know how children act. they resist when older people make them do things which will later benefit them. children are hard-headed. ang mga bata ay makapricho. but i guess, these kids have the right to, because they don't really understand that much. but when adults do it... it's really worth all the cuss words. hindi na naman ata prinsipyo yan, kapricho na yan. and that won't do, in these times.

respect is given to those who deserve it. and so, the irony. i can not say if i really deserve any respect from anyone, of course. but maybe i have the right to wish that to myself. i hoped that i have performed well, so as to deserve some respect, and some commanding rights. everything has been analyzed over and over. these were not rash decisions. so respect that. because we do did.

The sad truth is that excellence makes people nervous.
--Shana Alexander

and we are all nervous. but we've got each other right? the T.5 will be there to fight crime even before it happens. or we might just dance the night away.

It's not enough that we do our best; sometimes we have to do what's required. --Sir Winston Churchill British politician (1874 - 1965)

what would be more fun than doing the things you like and really really enjoying it. life is short, difficult and cannot be repeated, unlike es 12. so, let's party and just chop all those erring people into tiny bits with a pushpin or something. :D
