still awake

at 1 pm...

of course its is very often that i am still awake at this hour, but i have to wake up at about 6 am...

i am worried sick (cant sleep, voracious eating, singing lungs out) about our apps night this friday. i dunno what i am worrying about. some gut feel, it will happen the unexpected way...

ok. now the details.

monday. ummm.. uneventful? just forgot.

tuesday. had a nice conversation with pat, fra and mina. revealing, though. hehe. went to national bookstore with pat (we saw marjorie baretto).

wednesday. i was supposed to 'tambay' at SME this week. but i failed somehow. why, why? ah! right... the wednesday Ham. tsk tsk. and, i completely forgot the tambayan makeover. but someone reminded me. went to OICA (voucher!) and OSA with ceres. lost my ID. happy! the tambayan looked great after we painted the chairs and tables. :D had lots of fun too. and 3 more tambay hours! :P had go nuts donuts from bernie. :D company talk do day.

thursday. company talk. awesome. met some great KEM alumni. helped with some sponsor logos in the catharsis do day. had an apps meeting. was very tired, i don't know why. and ate cello's donuts from mayet :D. saw a very very large spider at home. got pissed off by lovely, wont care to kill/squash the arachnid.

friday. the big day. received repeat plates. haha. MPs from sir palmiano. cold ge 1 class (18 degrees!). catharsis! nice... happy. fun.

saturday. went home in slippers. nice ride home. slept at bus (courageously). had gcc in computer. :D passed the lame article (e-lib) to logscript. eat. tv. internet. and read the newspaper.

sunday. eat. tv. internet. sleep. and read the newspaper.

sadly, i am not in contact again with housemates. i dunno. am i just too tired? am i just too pissed off (by them? or by someone else?)? well, that's not healthy anyway. :(

i have to say, company talk was a big success. well maybe that's what i think... anyway, it was enjoyable. catharsis was really really nice. especially the 'suso' part. haha. but the highlight was the KEM mega prod.(janine! yehey! and torts too!)

lots of it.

workinhg on the ene assignment (5 and 6) today. i hate movie reviews. next to book reviews. why not only enjoy them? the report ruins it for me.

anyway, just finished my substandard powerpoint presentation of "folk games" (real cheesy, huh?).

but the films were nice, technically. much nicer after being thrown out (temporarily) of the cinema. we got in too early (and apparently, too late for the 6 pm show).

bonus: i got a 1 piece chicken and rice from burger king. i ordered the beef patty steak or whatever (its much cheaper) but they gave me he chicken. awww.. i had not the heart to return it, besides, they are cheating people every day, why not let me have our payback, eh?

firsts: first time i rode the lrt 2. first time i rode the katipunan jeep alone. first time to ride a bus with street people. (but i wasnt completely grossed out, unlike the fat lady beside me. although they smelled like sh*t. it was tolerable, if you have the right attitude.)

congrats buddy MARVIN for finishing your ham! ok, you need to tambay now. [and yes, i know, you also don't have access to this multi-awarded blog.] but no worries... for me.

oh no. the logscript article... worry! worry!

friday. SME Sports Man Eh! fun, really. had loads of laughs. even did an egg roll in sunken garden. i hoped we won though. but, WE BEAT MIKE'S (Castro) TEAM IN TUG OF WAR!!! so, we're really good. 8)

but my whole body aches until now.

much more painful than our es13 exam last friday. what was that? a one night cram again.. but i finished reading (again) Harry Potter 4.

monday. had mass with lucky (and shie, but she was far away). we sat beside sir paringit (ge1), and lucky held out the basket-net-looking-thingy for collecting cash. was fun too. the ge club had their thanksgiving mass, that's why they were so many ge peeps there... had lunch at LB, of course, lucky's treat.

regret

nothing much to, this week.

es 1 exam was great! another 30 something for me.. thanks to the oh-so-complicated auxillary view, and the brain twisting lines and planes problem.

ge 1 was a joke. i got 60, at least after haggling with sir that high wavelength = larger wavelength.

es 13 was so-so. 70. bleh! my standing is about 55something. still, failure.

on the other hand...or hands. (?) inter-u was a huge success (in a manner of speaking). UPLB won again (like last year), Batangas State, 2nd and Adamson, 3rd. applause and much much confetti to all those who helped, especially mina, who was very "haggard" to the point of not finishing El Fili for the PI 100 'finals' reciation. and hernan, for the tough questions. and everyone else. (of course ate pame, sharra and all those---waaaa! do i have to mention each one of you? well later, if i can grab a copy of the SP.) i had a great time hosting with pat and lou, although it seems that each one of us said incorrect approximately [(15*13)-10] = 185 times. whew! but then, it was a good game. although my shoes were probably the biggest loser in the contest (it crumbled under my weight the very second i stepped into a puddle).

congrats buddy KRISTA, although you do not seem to have access to this wonderful allocation of electronic arrangements. yehey! warning: DO NOT DEFER! or, i might have wasted the 45php i spent on cello's donuts (yum!). marvin...monday, 12:50 pm, right? ok.

i finished reading virgin suicides yesterday (technically today, at 2 am.), despite the es 1 exam today. it creeped me out. and i was afraid to turn off the lights, because the picture of Bonnie hanging and Mary at the oven ran over and over in my mind. if it did not rain hard last night, i might have scared myself awake till morning.

i drank 6 packets of coffee this week. good huh? but then, its not a good source of energy. i had to depend on graham crackers (chocolate) for my strength.

also, finally, the sme apps 05A finally met. other things pertaining to the application were finalized. mils is the batchhead, and im the ChE rep. (or something like that)
the es 26 exam second part was okay. i finished it, with a joke.

and yipee! i got 100% on my geog midterms!!! *happy*

KEM month started last wednesday with the opening ceremony (which was short, thank you very much) held at the ChE lab conference room (naks! parang news ha!) and yada yada yada...

anyway, krista signed up for ham. but this week, she decided again to defer her application. pat and i decided that we should let her go if she wanted to because we have already pleaded her not to defer last time, and we don't like to seem like "i'd die if you'd defer..." buddies. so defer... but luckily, jay louie (yes, mention...) talked her into continuing the application. go krista.

on the other hand, our problem buddy (no, not really...) [although a bit because he didn't attend the constilec, and went to the app-alumni dinner without a sigsheet, and fails to tambay] is still continuing his application (haayy...)
