buddy pretentious pat

for the nth time.
----
well, pat is leaving about nine hours from now. and its sad because...awwww you know this usual ka-ekekan.
----
when pat said that she was going to leave (months ago), i felt sad, but not very much then. well, a lot of people (this sem) told us that we were always seen together. (true) and there was a time when people ask us for each other. others (the malicious ones) made intriga. its not really our fault because we share 2 classes. and the same committee. and the same event at the start of the sem. what really started this was our (mostly her, i must say) co-dependence. she needed me to come with her to the canteen (for regular, no-porkiness build-up meals). i needed her to come with me to talk with maam gene. also, we had the same teacher (maam sotto) in es 21 last summer.

we used each other to whine about things we cannot shout out. we pour out our angst towards some idiotic person or some really bitchy maggot, or maybe just the canteen ladies who may have branded me as 'banana con yelo boy' because i spilled banana con yelo all over the spoons in the canteen. [for me] it evolved from marginal listening (blah blah blah yada yada blah blah) into really connecting. feeling. (but really, we did much more on the eating category)

so, pat leaving will be a sort of deleting an important factor in my life. this past week, i often joke her about buddying (oh yes, we are in the same buddy group, but we were the only ones left, after our app buddies became [as the memcom would put it] MIA- missing in action) with the ickiest people (i have to be pretentious all year) and the biggest egos around. but as i told her, i only lost her, while she lost all of us (physically though). and if i find it hard to find a pal like her, geesh, it would be harder for her. (mr yamamoto! so handsome! so generous!)

so pat, just enjoy your japan endeavors (NOT what you're thinking) and mag-ingat, wag magpagabi sa kalsada. and DNA analyze before you eat, baka seafood. just, be OK. we'll try to be OK here. we'll try very hard. [cue: tears]
----
happy birthday to quincy and karen infantado. (no pun intended at all)
