I had quite a very long week, which started with a very long day. we went to lola ched's on sunday where we had lunch. it was her birthday and she cooked (or might have told some people to cook), and i ate a lot (oooh, porky me). then, papa, mama plus the three younger boys dropped me off at the apartment. i basically dropped all my things and went to engg so that gary and i could work on the poster thing. (he said he would start at 10 am, but then...) so we went to yia to make the poster. ok. while we were working, several inhinyero people came in (as it was their office.) alou, the eic for this year's yearbook asked gary if he would hear mass. (or i think gary asked her, but hey...) anyway, i went to hear mass too. after mass, alou met rhet (her thesis groupmate, i think) and we all went to lutong bahay to have dinner. it was a nice dinner, although they almost forgot to give me my avocado shake. then, we went back to yia (after a stop at molave) to continue working. the hours passed by, and i did not want to go home, leaving gary with the work so i stayed till past midnight. i didnt want to go home alone at that time so i stayed. we finished at 5:30 am (with the inhinyero interview portion at 3 am), and we went home. i took a bath (though i shouldnt have), and ate my oatmeal. then, i fell asleep (accidentally) for an hour, but rushed to engg for my 8 am exam.
whew! [so much details!!! anyway..] we started the 132 exam at 8:40 am, and i just realized i didnt have my calculator with me, so i borrowed from gert (thanks). i finished the exam (which was quite easy) at 9:45 am, and went to the tambayan to find celeste. we went together to stat for our stat finals. as we were walking, i remembered that i forgot to borrow a calculator, and i fretted a bit, but what can i do? when we reached stat, daril welcomed us with the news that calculators are not allowed for this test, as jay louie told him (who took the exam earlier). ok. so, stat exam. easy. es 12 exam next. (i found out that i got 61+ on my 4th exam, so i had fresh confidence... and i needed only 61 to pass dose!!) [es was a bit hard, yes, but was easier than all of our exams. ok. im tired now, so im making some shortcuts]
tuesday now. ttoday, i have my 131 exam, which turned out to be okay, kahit hindi ako nag-aral. more significantly, pat sent us some food! i had fun eating the chocolates (with brandy, kimchi-flavored, green tea flavored, ginseng (bleargh!) flavored and the one with seaweeds (which i enjoyed because i love throwing up because of yucky food). also, the seaweeds, without the chocolate, and the soft cookie. thanks pat. im sorry i havent sent you anything. but janine and ceres' "secret gift" will make up for my not sending you anything.
wednesday. totally free. i just read like 3 chapters of draco veritas. haha. it was a good read, especially if you want to sleep. (just read it lying down.) wait, i did something else. oh yes. we did our eee 1 report, but basically, kenneth did all the work, but we still contributed something, aside from the very required individual insights portion. and got all our eee 1 papers. my grade in eee1 is definitely my highest grade for this semester. but i can do with higher... please...
thursday. some reading... and a little pissed off by something on wednesday's events. went to school only for easl meeting (which was boring), and ec meeting (which was fun). lisa tucker got eliminated, and i failed to watch the week's episodes. T_T
friday. today! had a meeting with A (hmm...similar symbols with janina's blog), which went smoothly, much smooth than we expected. we did not need to you know, get rough. hehe. but i forgot all about the ChESI interview. sorry cathy. went home. had a nice dinner. john's graduation (nursery) was today, and also papa's birthday. happy birthday! 48 now...

last saturday, we had an ec meeting. after that, kuya bars treated us to dinner at Trelis in kalayaan. :D (thanks!) more than all the food (haha, the sizzling stuff with the smoke going to mike!!!), was the words of wisdom (yuck, such cliche, i mean my use of 'words of 'wisdom', but then...). he told us that we should do things like this and like that. not lectured us, but gave us a heck of useful advice.

it has really started. and i am moving from "oh im so nervous!" to "oh, im so ready to rock the prc out of kem!" come on! but then, there's still acads. for the nth time, i promise, with hopes that i will keep it, that i, like the phoenix, will rise from the ashes and redeem myself. glory in academics. but then, there will be many pains first. but then, again, to quote my favorite writer (me!):
"...the rewards are worth the pains..."
